Japan’s Safety and Advanced Technology

by Saul Garcia, Staff Writer

Japan is living in the future. Why is it living in the future? Technology has massive upgrades compared to the U.S. It’s not only that. It is very safe in japan. Very few people who live in Japan own a car.

Due to the lack of cars, the roads aren’t as wide as they are in the U.S. They are more like the size of a one-way street. With these slim roads, there is hardly anywhere to park. You may be wondering, how will you get to places fast when you don’t want to walk? Well, the standard mode of transport in Japan is the subway. This is why there aren't a lot of cars.

There are a lot of things that Japan has that the U.S. doesn't have. For example, in some homes or apartments in Japan, they have this little touchpad (around the size of the iPad mini) that you can press buttons and it can start your bath. But that’s not it! You can also change the temperature of the tub. This means you can get the temperature exactly as you like it. Also, it knows when to stop filling so you don’t have to worry about it overflowing. How fancy is that!

Japan is safe and there is a lot of trust when it comes to shopping. In Japan, there are some stores in japan that don’t have any employees. You just have to walk into the store and grab what you want to buy and walk out. Why can you just walk out? The store gets your amazon account and adds it to your cart. You just have to click buy on the app and you are ready to leave.

Japan is amazing. It is safe and has some cool technology. I always find Japan’s safety and advanced technology fascinating and I hope you did too!
