There are plenty of routes that you can follow after you graduate high school, whether that be joining the workforce, the military, trade school, and the most popular, an undergrad college. All graduating students have their preference by the end of their junior year, or just before senior year ends. Some students even take a “gap year” to help decide what they want to do. There plenty of pros that go along with all the options provided above. But, college can provide way more positives than all the others and here’s why.

College is where you are tought and prepared to be released into the real world and decide what you want to do with your life. Although it may be stressful, college has ways to create new friends, experience such fun times, and teach you about what goes inside the real world. You have four years to experience such activities. Depending where you go, you can also experience watching some very good sports. Football, basketball, baseball, etc. Schools like Alabama, Kansas, CU, and plenty more.

But, college is not for everyone, which is completely understandable. No matter if you can’t afford it or you can’t deal with another four years of school, it is totally understandable. That is why there are opportunities outside of college to introduce yourself to the real world. Joining the work force, serve for your country are both really good options if you can’t afford college. If you can’t stand another four years of school, you can go into trade school and learn about something you are interested in inside of the work force. No matter what situation you sit on, you should follow whatever you are interested in.
